Dieruff Alumni Basketball Reunion

 “The German Years” 1974-1981

 

Dear  '74- '81 Dieruff Basketball Player, Cheerleader, Coach or Staff Member:

It is our pleasure to invite you and your spouse/guest to the Dieruff Alumni Basketball Reunion celebrating “The German Years” 1974-1981.  We will celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of these teams, by inviting back the players, cheerleaders, coaches and staff members that made this era of basketball at Dieruff High School a very memorable experience.

 

Our reunion committee has planned a special day for Saturday, January 30, 2016.  On this date, it is our plan to introduce all former players, cheerleaders, coaches and staff at halftime of the Dieruff vs. Allen Varsity Basketball game being held at the Dick Schmidt Gymnasium.  The game is at 1:30 PM with halftime scheduled to begin at approximately 2:15 PM.  Further directions will be provided that afternoon at the game.

 

At the conclusion of the game, all persons are invited to a post- game gathering at the Brass Rail, 3015 Lehigh St., Allentown, PA 18103.  We have reserved a separate room in the lower level of the Brass Rail beginning at 3:30 PM.  The DJ, food and beverages (beer & soda) are included in your payment and a cash bar will be available.  It will be an enjoyable atmosphere to relive those memorable moments

.

We look forward to seeing each of you as this was a special era of basketball, made up of special people and a special coach, Terry German.  Please RSVP by registering on the Alumni Website no later than Friday, January 8, 2016.

 

If attending the Dieruff vs. Allen Basketball game, your name will be added to a list at the ticket booth of the gymnasium.  You will need to show identification for free admittance.
